This program introduces the concept to strive for more micronutrients in your daily diet. The style of eating and nutrition does not require deprivation instead you are encouraged to eat the nutritional foods until satisfied.

1.   Weight loss

There's plenty of research suggesting vegetarians tend to consume fewer calories, and thus weigh less and have lower body mass indexes than non-vegetarians. My husband and I attended a Nutritarian retreat this summer and ate three full buffet -style meals including dessert every day and we both  lost weight!

2.  Beautiful Skin

Cutting back on animal products also means skipping much of their saturated fats, which are notorious for clogging pores. Plus, many of the vitamins, pigments and phytochemicals in fruits and veggies contribute to healthy skin. The lycopene in tomatoes, for example, helps protect your skin from sun damage, and the vitamin C in sweet potatoes smooths wrinkles by stimulating the production of collagen

 3.  Healthy Heart

Harvard researchers tracked the health habits of about 110,000 people for 14 years, and found that the higher folks' intakes of fruits and vegetables, the lower their chances of developing cardiovascular disease.   The High fiber intake of fruits and veggies also keeps you regular by aiding digestion and preventing constipation and can aid in lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

4.  Prevent Diabetes

Roughly 387 million people are living with diabetes.  The International Diabetes Federation, that number is expected to soar to nearly 600 million by 2035.Most importantly, Type 2 diabetes is entirely preventable.

 5.  Vision Value

As you may know, the vitamin A in carrots aids night vision. Your eyes might also thank you for a plant-based diet rich in spinach, kale, corn, squash, kiwi and grapes. The lutein and zeaxanthin pigments in these foods help prevent cataract and macular degeneration.

6. Longevity

The most important building block is nutrition.  Studies show a relationship between nutrition and calories and your longevity and health potential; Without superior nutrition your body ability to live life to the fullest is limited. Scientific studies reveal that high nutrient dense foods such as vegetables, fruits beans nuts and seeds contain vitamins minerals and phytochemicals that work in synergy allow us to achieve the best positive health and immunity from disease.
